LIZZIES DEFEAT RED SOX 9-5; YANKEES RALLY TO USURP JAYS 13-12
Beneath a thick broth of humidity and smog at Christie Pits, the teams in the Peewee Division resumed its regular season after the Canada Day long weekend.
The Lizzies used a combination of timely hitting and stellar pitching and defense to stifle the Red Sox 9-5 in four and a half innings of play at Diamond # 2.
