JAYS CRUISE TO A 9-1 VICTORY OVER THE YANKEES

The Jays cruised to a convincing 9-1 victory over the Yankees in four and a half innings of play at Christie Pits Diamond # 2 today.
The Jays made the most of their offensive opportunities to surge ahead. Stellar defense and a strong Jays pitching staff silenced the mighty Yankees offensive machine.
Kudos to Jays pitchers Jake (12); Michael (6); Cameron (7) and Kane (1). The four pitchers combined to strike out five Yankees and allowed only one run over five innings.

RED SOX STORM BACK TO USURP THE LIZZIES 11-10 IN PEEWEE NIGHTCAP
Aster (8) of the Red Sox at bat in the bottom of the fourth inning.
The Red Sox staged a miracle comeback in the bottom of the fourth and final inning to defeat the Lizzies 11-10 in a thriller of a game at Diamond # 2.
Down 10-4, the Red Sox made the most of their offensive opportunities to erase a six run deficit.
With the score tied 10-10; the bases loaded and one out, Aster G. (8) of the Red Sox was at bat when she was hit by a pitch. Her at bat brought Adam P. (3) home from third base with the winning run to cap the incredible rally.
