On Diamond # 3 this evening, the Jaguars and Tigers clawed and scratched their way to a tie game in three innings of play.

There were many great plays by both teams during the proceedings. However, our TP Cub Reporter twittered that the highlight of the game was a monstrous inside the park home run by Jack (11) of the Jaguars which cleared the bases. The homer brought the fans and his teammates to their feet in celebration.

As the sun descended beyond the horizon at Christie Pits this evening, it was a sign that another Rookie Ball regular season had come to a close. Only this Saturday’s  Celebration Day festivities remain as the 2010 season wraps up.

But what a great Rookie Ball season it has been!
