The TP Baseball Committee is in dire need of old wooden broomsticks.
Our coaches use broomsticks in our wiffleball training program which assists players to develop better hand and eye coordination in hitting the baseball. We saw off the broom and use the old broom handle as a batting stick.
We kindly ask all parents and players to check their homes or apartments for any old wooden brooms that they no longer need.
Any old broomsticks can be dropped off at the main office at the Bob Abate Community Centre at 485 Montrose Avenue during regular business hours.
