TP House League Baseball Committee Team Formulation Board
The TP House League Baseball Committee wishes to thank all the players and parents in our Rookie Ball; Mosquito and Peewee age classifications who attended this past weekend’s baseball skills evaluation process.
Your active and enthusiastic participation allows the committee to collect succinct data which permits us to formulate teams that are as competitively balanced as possible. Thanks to everyone for your time and cooperation.
The Tee Ball and Rookie Ball Division team rosters are scheduled to be completed by Tuesday, May 3 and will be presented to the participating coaches at a meeting that evening. Parents and players are advised that they’ll be contacted by Wednesday, May 4 at the latest with the name of your team and the coach along with the date and time of your first spring training practice.
The Mosquito and Peewee Division team rosters are scheduled to be finalized by Wednesday, May 4 and will be presented to the participating coaches at a meeting that evening. Parents and players will be contacted by Thursday, May 5 with the name of your team and the coach along with the date, time, and location of your first spring training practice.
For players in the Bantam and Midget Division, evaluations will take place during the evening of Tuesday, May 3 (weather permitting) at Christie Pits Diamond #1.
BANTAM DIVISION
6:00 pm to 7:00 pm: Players whose last name starts with a letter from A to L;
7:00 pm to 8:00 pm: Players whose last name starts with a letter from M to Z.
MIDGET DIVISION
8:00 pm to 8:45 pm: Players whose last name starts with a letter (or letters) from A to Mi;
8:45 pm to 9:30 pm: Players whose last name starts with a letter (or letters) from Mo to Z.
After the team coaches in Bantam and Midget have finalized their draft selections for their respective teams, players and parents will be contacted before the end of the week with the name of your team and coach along with the date, time, and location of your first spring training practice.
The 2011 TP Spring Training period is scheduled to run from May 8 to May 19.
And as a friendly reminder, please note that our TP Baseball Uniform pick-up days are scheduled for the week of May 16. Distribution location, dates and times will be announced once arrangements are finalized.
Additionally, regular season schedules for all six of our house league divisions will be posted on the website as soon as they are finalized.
