IT’S OPENING DAY!

THE 2011 TP HOUSE LEAGUE SEASON KICKS OFF WITH TWO TEE BALL GAMES AT BICKFORD PARK AND THREE PEEWEE GAMES AT CHRISTIE PITS

Opening Day has finally arrived!

The 2011 Toronto Playgrounds House League Baseball Season kicks off this afternoon with five games on the schedule.

The Tee Ball Division will start their 2011 season with two games at the Bickford North diamond.

Meanwhile, six Peewee Division teams will inaugurate their season with three games at Christie Pits.

Our other four age divisions will open their respective seasons as the week rolls out.

On days of uncertain weather, the TP Baseball Committee strongly advises Parents and Players to call our TP Weather Hotline at 416-392-1914 (Press 4); check this website or follow us on Twitter @TPbaseballnews before coming to the park  for the latest weather updates regarding whether their game or practice will proceed as scheduled or be cancelled.

Updated information will be posted on the hotline, website and Twitter at least 45-60 minutes before your scheduled game or practice.

The TP Baseball Committee wishes to thank all the players and parents who are on board for our 2011 season. We hope you enjoy the season ahead.
