The Panthers and Tigers opened their Rookie Ball Division regular season with a huge display of offensive fireworks at Christie Pits Diamond # 2 this evening.
With the bleacher seats filled to capacity with enthusiastic fans, the Panthers and Tigers clawed and scratched each other on the diamond with endless hits and runs for three innings.
When the dust had finally settled, the official scorekeeper declared that the two teams had played to a tie.
It was a fitting end to a great game by two great teams.
