THE ATHLETICS JUMPED OUT TO AN EARLY LEAD AND NEVER LOOKED BACK
In a serene Bantam Division round robin game this evening at Dominico Field at Christie Pits, the A’s defeated the Lizzies 7-4 in five innings.
The Athletics jumped out to a four run lead after two innings of play and never looked back.
The A’s pitching staff was firing on all cylinders as they struck out twelve Lizzies batters in the game. Keying the A’s stalwart pitching pyrotechnics were Stanny (8) and David (4).
