Underneath warm and humid skies, the Panthers and Tigers innaugurated the beginning of the 2012 Rookie Ball House League Baseball Season at Christie Pits Diamond 2 this evening.
In tenacious feline fashion, both teams clawed and stratched for every offensive run garnered through three innings of play.
When the dust had finally settled on the basepaths, the official scorekeeper sent a Tweet announcing that the Panthers and Tigers had played to a tie.
And a wonderful time was had by all in attendance.
