THE TP BASEBALL ASSOCIATION HAS SCHEDULED TRYOUTS FOR SEVERAL AGE CATEGORIES
As a TP – Christie Pits or Annette Baseball house league, select or rep player/parent, you are invited to consider trying out for a Rep team in your age category.
You should consider this option if you wish to spend more time playing baseball, playing in a more competitive setting and developing your baseball thinking and playing skills beyond the house league levels. The social aspect is also great.
Make contact now for the 2013 season. Use the contact info below to get on an email list for your age group. There may be changes that do not appear on the web site.
Players who have conflicting house league playoff games should fulfill their obligation to their existing team. There will be enough additional practice/tryout sessions for you to demonstrate your abilities.
Players should attend practices at both Ravina Gardens Park and Christie Pits, regardless of their house league affiliation.
Here are the scheduled tryouts for TP Rep:
- For players born in 2002 or younger. Tryouts will start Saturday, September 15 at 11 a.m. at Christie Pits Diamond #3 and Sunday, September 16 at noon at Ravina Gardens Park. Practice/tryouts will continue until the weather prevents them.
- Tryouts for players born in 2001 will begin on Saturday, September 15 at 1:30 p.m. at Christie Pits Diamond #3 and on Sunday, September 16 at 2:30 p.m. at Ravina Gardens Park. Practice / tryouts will continue until the weather prevents them.
- Tryouts for players born in 1999 or 2000 are on Sunday, September 16 and Sunday, September 23, both, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at Ravina Gardens Park.
- Tryouts for players born in 1995, 1996 and 1997 are on Tuesday, September 25 and Thursday, September 27 at 6:30 p.m. both nights at Dominico Field at Christie Pits (Diamond # 1).
Everyone is welcome to try out but if you played, last season, for a Rep team in another organization, you need a “release” or “ permission to try out”.
There is no charge and no obligation to join.
Select players are welcome to come to these practices/tryouts. A number of those who participate are expected to choose to play on a select team at TP or Annette.
