COACHES MEETINGS WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE GYM AT THE BICKFORD CENTRE
The Toronto Playgrounds Baseball Committee will be holding its first coaches’ get together on Saturday, January 19.
This will be a short session designed to welcome everyone back, set out our timeline and expectations, and answer any questions you may have. We’ll also have some balls to toss around (but only gently this early in the year!). We will be meeting in the gym at the Bickford Centre (777 Bloor Street West), which is the large building on the south side of Bloor St. across from Christie Pits. The entrance to the gym is down the stairs at the front of the building (in the area called the Breezeway).
The schedule for the day is as follows:
2:00 p.m. > Tee Ball Division (House League)
2:30 p.m. > Rookie Ball Division (House League)
3:00 p.m. > Mosquito Division (House League)
3:30 p.m. > Peewee Division (House League)
4:00 p.m. > Select (all divisions)
4:30 p.m. > Bantam/Midget Divisions (House League)
If you are interested in coaching in more than one division, or in both select and house league, then come to whichever one of the sessions you like. If you’re interested but can’t make it Saturday then please let us know by return e-mail at tpbaseball@gmail.com.
The TP Baseball Committee is in the process of finalizing our 2013 House League Division Schedule, which will set out which age groups will play on which days and at what times. This will be finalized and posted on our website by Friday January 25 (if not sooner). We’ll inform everyone once it’s posted.
