IN CONJUNCTION WITH BASEBALL ONTARIO, TP BASEBALL HAS SCHEDULED A MANDATORY CLINIC FOR UMPIRES TO RECEIVE THE NECESSARY CERTIFICATION TO OFFICIATE WITH US DURING THE 2013 SEASON
The Toronto Playgrounds Baseball Committee has scheduled an Ontario Baseball Association (OBA) sponsored Umpire’s Clinic on Saturday, May 11 to allow umpires an opportunity to receive the necessary certification to allow them to officiate with TP Baseball during the 2013 season.
The Umpire Clinic will be held at the Alex Duff Pool Building located at 779 Crawford Street (the big building in the northwest quandrant of Christie Pits).
Here is the timetable for the umpiring clinic:
- 8:30 a.m. > REGISTRATION
- 9:00 a.m. > CLINIC BEGINS
- 4:00 p.m. > CLINIC ENDS
LEVELS & FEES
- Level 1: $25.00
- Level 2: $45.00 (an umpire must complete two years of Level 1 to move up)
ALL umpires (whether new or returning) MUST attend this (or any other OBA) clinic in order to umpire for TP Baseball this summer.
However, umpires MUST register for the clinic on their own via the Baseball Ontario website at www.baseballontario.com.
