On a hot and humid dog day evening at Christie Pits Diamond 3, the Mets defeated the Reds 12-4 in a heated four inning Mosquito Division soiree.

Here are the highlights:

  • Nigel (5) led the Mets offense with two run scoring doubles. Nigel also pitched a shut out inning. And to cap it off, Nigel also made aleaping  bare-handed grab in centerfield to prevent an errant throw from scoring a bunch of runs.
