INFORMATION SESSIONS ARE SCHEDULED AT THE BICKFORD CENTRE GYM TO GAUGE INTEREST IN OUR MOSQUITO SELECT TEAM (2003-2004) ON NOVEMBER 16 AND ROOKIE BALL SELECT TEAM (2005-2006) ON NOVEMBER 23

The TP Baseball Committee has announced some important dates and times for people interested in our Toronto Playgrounds Mosquito and Rookie Ball Select offerings for the 2014 season.
There will be an initial indoor orientation session for these age groups in the Bickford Centre gym (777 Bloor Street West) during November. The sessions will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Here are the session dates for each age category:
- 2014 MOSQUITO SELECT TEAM (players born in 2003-2004) > Saturday, November 16
- 2014 ROOKIE BALL SELECT TEAM (players born in 2005-2006) > Saturday, November 23
The purpose of these initial sessions is to gauge the level of interest in our select program at these ages (which will help us decide if we need two teams or one in each division), to give the players an opportunity to take part in some indoor drills while meeting our 2014 coaches, and to give us a chance to answer any questions that parents may have about our program.
We will also be handing out an important information letter for parents regarding our 2014 Toronto Playgrounds House League Select Program.

The Committee will be starting weekly select tryouts in January…information regarding the days, times, and locations will be sent out in early December.
