THE FAMILY DAY LONG WEEKEND HAS FORCED THE CANCELLATION OF THIS WEEK’S INDOOR SELECT TRYOUT SESSIONS

The TP Baseball Committee has decided to cancel the indoor Select Team Tryout sessions for this Saturday, February 15 and Monday, February 17 since it is the Family Day Long Weekend.
In the interest of not inconveniencing families who may have plans for the long weekend, the Committee has decided to skip this weekend and start again on Saturday, February 22.
The committee had originally indicated in earlier postings and e-mails that Saturday, February 15 was the date by which all players interested in being considered for the Rookie Ball Select team (2005-2006), Mosquito Select team (2003-2004), Minor Peewee Select team (2002), and Major Peewee Select team (2001) had to have been out to at least one tryout session to be considered for selection to the various Select rosters.
With this Saturday’s sessions being cancelled, that date will now be Saturday, February 22. Players will still need to attend a second tryout session by Saturday, March 8 in order to be considered for the teams.
Our Bantam (1999-2000) and Midget (1996-1998) Select team indoor tryouts will resume on Monday, February 24.
