Beneath a layer of warm and hazy skies, the A’s defeated the Expos 13-6 in four innings of Bantam Division action this evening at Dominico Field at Christie Pits.

The Expos kept the proceedings close in the early innings. However, some shaky Expos defense and the team speed of the A’s allowed the Athletics to pull away for the victory in the latter innings.

Here are some highlights:

  • A’s starter Arlo (1) threw a scoreless first inning against the Expos
  • A’s reliever Jerome (3) tossed a scoreless fourth to close it.
  • Sam (15) had a lead off double for the A’s in the second.
  • Evan (10) of the A’s had a 2 RBI double later in the second which scored Sam and Jerome.
  • Zoe of the Expos went 1 for 1 at the dish with two runs scored.
  • Expos pitcher Keegan (12) held the Athletics to two runs before they pulled away for the win.
