Down 8-4, the A’s rallied for six runs in the top of the fourth to overtake the White Sox.

A’s reliever Jerome (3) threw a scoreless bottom half of the fourth to pick up the victory and seal the deal on a hard fought come from behind victory.

Here are some additional highlights:

  • White Sox pitcher Jamie (15) threw a scoreless first inning against the A’s and turned in a double play.
  • Special kudos to Dylan (12) of the A’s who hit a three RBI double in the second and spearheaded a double play in the third, getting A’s reliever Jerome out of a jam in the first inning that he pitched. On double play with bases loaded, Dylan fielded the ball, touched the base and threw home where a White Sox base runner was called out for not sliding. The defensive gem was executed very calmly and methodically.
  • There was a lead change in the bottom second when the White Sox pulled ahead 6-4.
  • The A’s were shorthanded as they played with only eight players in the lineup.
