Hello,

Plans to improve Christie Pits Park continue to progress. Over the last year, local residents, my office and City staff have been working toward a vision for Christie Pits that does not disrupt the already vibrant culture of the park, while introducing improvements that will make all park patrons’ experiences better.

Some highlights include a new community hub around the bake oven, court area upgrades, a new stage for hosting community events, and the return of a popular feature in the playground area. These are just some of the many improvements planned for the park.

I invite you to join me to learn more about this work.

When: Tuesday, February 17
Time: 5:30pm – 7:00pm
Where: Bob Abate Community Centre – 485 Montrose Avenue (map).

If you are unable to attend and would like more information, or would like to provide your thoughts, please contact Marco Bianchi in my office at mbianch@toronto.ca, or by phone at 416-392-4009.

I look forward to seeing you on February 17!

Mike Layton, City Councillor,  Ward 19 Trinity Spadina
