Our Toronto Playgrounds Minor Peewee Selects went down swinging at the Mississauga Southwest Baseball Association (MSBA) Tournament this afternoon at Tom Chater Memorial Park.

TP opened the round robin portion of the tourney on Friday night with a 17-7 four inning loss to the Ajax Spartans.

In a noon time affair earlier today, the Mississauga Majors defeated TP 8-1.

And in a late afternoon proceeding, Brampton (Kirby) blanked Toronto Playgrounds 10-0 in four innings of play.

With an 0-3 round robin record, the TP Minor Peewee Selects were eliminated from any further play at the MSBA tourney.

The TP House League Baseball Committee wishes to commend all of our Minor Peewee Select players, coaches and parents for representing the core values of the Toronto Playgrounds Baseball program with honour, dignity and professionalism on and off the diamond at this weekend’s tournament and throughout the season.
