Under a canopy of warm and hazy skies, the Orioles edged the Jays 6-5 in four innings of Mosquito Division play this evening at Trinity-Bellwoods Park Diamond 2.

Here is a Jays account of the proceedings:

  • Thursday’s Jays and Orioles game was a riveting four inning affair.
  • As rain threatened overhead, the Jays took a 3-0 lead with Julian’s (9) two RBI single.
  • In the top of the third, a two RBI double by Noah (8) extended the Jays advantage to 5-1.
  • However, the pesky O’s clawed back and won the game 6-5.
  • Great catching by Jordan and pitching by Malcolm (12).
  • With the Orioles short on players, the Jays loaned them some fielders to play in the outfield when the Jays were at bat.
  • A downpour capped the evening off and everyone at the diamond got soaked!
