Firing on all cylinders, TP unleashed a twenty-nine hit barrage [25 singles & four doubles] over the course of four frames to bury the A’s. Each of the thirteen players pencilled into the TP lineup card had at least one hit during the proceedings. Despite putting two runners on base in the top of the first, Annette would leave them stranded. The highlight of the inning was a nice catch made by TP third baseman Emmett (8), who snagged a screaming line drive off the bat of Lachlan (44) to ring up the first out.
