Under a ceiling of warm and humid summer skies, our Toronto Playgrounds Minor Peewee Selects defeated the Weston Wolverines 22-5 in three innings of Etobicoke Baseball Association (EBA) Select action this evening at Pelmo Park to win their sixth and final regular season game.

Here are the highlights:

  • TP pitcher Josh (37) made his starting debut by allowing only three earned runs and getting the win versus the Wolverines.
  • TP reliever Jamie (52) pitched three-up-three-down third to close out the victory.
  • TP catcher Javert (19) and third baseman Max (20) were a deadly combo that manufactured at least two outs.
  • Jackson (8) got a triple on shot to the opposite field and everyone got at least a hit.
  • Weston threw four different pitchers at TP to no avail.
  • A good night for TP!

With the end of the EBA Select regular season, the TP Minor Peewee Selects [6-6] begin their quest for championship glory on Saturday (August 13) morning at the EBA Peewee Select playoffs.
