Beneath a canopy of solemn Spring skies, our Toronto Playgrounds Major and Minor Peewee Select teams participated today in the second edition of the Etobicoke Baseball Association (EBA) Peewee Select Preseason Invitational Tournament.

The annual exhibition tournament held at Ravina Gardens involves four teams: the two respective TP Peewee Select teams, the Annette A’s and the Martingrove White Sox. These preseason exhibition games allows each team an opportunity to get game ready for the upcoming 2017 EBA Select season ahead.

Both of our TP teams fared well at this year’s invitational tourney. The TP Major Peewee Selects finished the invitational with a sparkling 3-0 record. And the TP Minor Peewee Selects ended up with a not too shabby 2-1 record.

In the TP versus TP battle for all the marbles, the Major Peewees topped the Minor Peewees to earn the TP bragging rights…for now.
