AN AUTUMN WORKOUT/TRYOUT SESSION FOR PLAYERS INTERESTED IN OUR 2018 TORONTO PLAYGROUNDS MIDGET SELECT TEAM (2000-2002) IS ON DECK FOR THIS WEDNESDAY AT DOMINICO FIELD AT CHRISTIE PITS
The Toronto Playgrounds Baseball Committee has scheduled an outdoor workout/tryout session for players interested in playing for the 2018 Toronto Playgrounds Midget Select team.
The Midget Select workout/tryout session will take place on Wednesday, October 4 from 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. at Dominico Field at Christie Pits (a.k.a Diamond 1).
Players born in 2000, 2001 and 2002 are eligible to participate in this session.
We need to determine the number of players there are who would be interested in playing Midget Select for Toronto Playgrounds in 2018, and this session is a very important first step. So if you are interested please either attend the session or, if you can’t make it Wednesday, let us know by return email that you are interested. The Committee may hold a second session on Saturday (October 7) afternoon at 12:30 p.m…..we’ll confirm that by Wednesday evening.
On days of questionable weather, Players and Parents are advised to check our Hotline [(416) 392-1914], Twitter feed [@TPbaseballnews], or website [https://torontoplaygrounds.ca/news/] for updates on the status of their outdoor workout/tryout session. Updates will be posted 45-60 minutes prior to the start of the session.
