With the amalgamation of the TP Rep program with the House League and Select operations, Toronto Playgrounds Baseball is proud to announce the additions of Mitch Bernard and Richard Helfrich to its volunteer baseball committee.
For many years, the TP Rep Baseball program had operated as a separate entity from House League and Select operations. The long and winding road process to merge the components under one umbrella was finally concluded in the past couple of months. With the House League, Select and Rep programs operating in unison, it will undoubtedly translate into a better baseball experience for one and all in our community.
Working diligently together with TP Baseball President Bill Evans and TP Baseball Chief Coordinator Steve Smith, both Mitch and Richard have been instrumental in assisting with our transition to a combined Baseball Association.
With many years of valuable baseball experience and knowledge under their caps, the Committee looks forward to Mitch and Richard’s contributions to our youth baseball operations.
The additions of Mitch and Richard to the TP Baseball Committee brings membership on the volunteer entity up to fourteen members. The TP Baseball Committee consists of a dedicated group of people from within the community who volunteer their time to work behind the scenes all year long to make the wonderful baseball program that we offer at Christie Pits possible.
