With our ‘Light The Night’ silent auction fundraiser on Friday, May 12 fast approaching, we wish to tell you about some of the wonderful items up for bids as we raise money for the ‘Lights On 3’ campaign to install lighting standards on Christie Pits Diamond 3.
Minimum bids on ALL silent auction items at the Light The Night event will be set at less than market value.
Please check back on a regular basis as that this post will be updated accordingly with more items that will be available at our silent auction.
Here are just some of the items up for bids:
A Handmade Crib Quilt
Are you expecting a baby – or do you know someone who is? Here is a beautiful handmade crib quilt. It is 100% cotton, sized for a crib and the binding is hand-stitched. It was made by Toronto quilt designer Carolyn Murphy.
A Seat from the Montreal Forum
Own a piece of hockey history! The Montreal Forum was hockey’s shrine from 1924 to 1996. Now, a Forum seat can be yours. It has a white seat back with “Forum de Montreal” and the seat location beautifully painted on it, and – of course – a Habs logo. This seat was purchased at the Bell Centre store about 15 years ago for about $300. Forum seats now sell for much more than $1,000 on eBay ( http://bit.ly/2os2zLj ). The minimum bid on this one will set at much less than that.

An Introductory Glider Flight Experience
