THE POSTPONED SECOND WORKOUT/TRYOUT SESSION FOR PLAYERS INTERESTED IN OUR 2018 TORONTO PLAYGROUNDS MIDGET SELECT TEAM (2000-2002) HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO SUNDAY AT CHRISTIE PITS DIAMOND 2
UPDATE: The 2018 TP Midget Select Workout/Tryout Session scheduled for Sunday, October 15 has been cancelled due to wet field conditions. The session has been rescheduled to Monday, October 16 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Christie Pits Diamond 2.
The Toronto Playgrounds Baseball Committee has rescheduled the postponed outdoor workout/tryout session for players interested in playing for the 2018 Toronto Playgrounds Midget Select team.
Wednesday’s rained out second Midget Select workout/tryout session will now take place on Sunday, October 15 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Christie Pits Diamond 2.
Players born in 2000, 2001 and 2002 are eligible to participate in this session.
Since we need to determine the number of players who would be interested in playing Midget Select for Toronto Playgrounds in 2018, these sessions are important step in making that decision. So if you are interested, please either attend the session or, if you can’t make it Wednesday, let us know by return email that you are interested.
On days of questionable weather, Players and Parents are advised to check our Hotline [(416) 392-1914], Twitter feed [@TPbaseballnews], or website [https://torontoplaygrounds.ca/news/] for updates on the status of their outdoor workout/tryout session. Updates will be posted 45-60 minutes prior to the start of the session.
