THE 2010 TP TOURNAMENT CONTINUES WITH FIVE GAMES TONIGHT

With another three games played yesterday, the 2010 TP Tournament (a.k.a. ‘September Madness’) continues this evening with five more scheduled games.
- ALL games WILL start at the scheduled time, regardless of how many players are there. Defensive teams will have to field with available players.
- Please arrive at least one half hour before game time to warm up and to allow coaches to make lineups.
- Full uniforms (houese league cap, house league jersey and house league pants) are to be worn.
- If games are cancelled due to weather, the tournament will run longer than indicated on the schedule.
Here’s a listing of the scheduled games that will be played today (Thursday, September 9):
MOSQUITO DIVISION
5:45 p.m. Giants @ Pirates (Diamond # 2)
5:45 p.m. Cardinals @ Cubs (Diamond # 3)
PEEWEE DIVISION: 7:45 p.m. Jays @ Yankees (Diamond # 2)
BANTAM DIVISION: 6:00 p.m. A’s @ White Sox (Diamond # 1)
MIDGET DIVISION: 8:00 p.m. Lizzies @ Homesteads (Diamond # 1)

Updated scores, standings, pictures and other news will be posted at the conclusion of play every night on the Toronto Playgrounds House League Baseball website at www.torontoplaygrounds.ca throughout the tournament. As the weekend portion of the tournament approaches, you can also check out the standings, scores and other important information at our TP Tournament Bulletin Board located behind Diamond # 2.
On days of uncertain weather, please remember to check the TP Weather Hotline at (416) 392-1914 (Press ‘4’) to see if your game will proceed as scheduled or be postponed. Please note that if some tournament games scheduled on a specific day are rained out, the schedule will continue as printed and the rained out games will be added into the schedule later in the tournament.
