BANTAM & MIDGET EVALUATIONS WILL TAKE PLACE AT DOMINICO FIELD (A.K.A. CHRISTIE PITS DIAMOND # 1)
The Toronto Playgrounds Baseball Committee has announced that the Bantam and Midget House League Player Evaluations will take place on Monday, May 7 at Christie Pits Diamond # 1 ( a.k.a. Dominico Field).
The Committee had been planning to hold them on the weekend of May 5-6, but with our umpire clinic taking place on May 5 and the Toronto Maple Leafs Season Opener in the Intercounty Baseball League on May 6, we’ve decided to move the evaluations to the Monday evening.
If you are unable to attend the scheduled evaluation session, please notify us at tpbaseball@gmail.com .
ALL players attending the evaluations will need to bring their glove and wear the shoes they will be playing in during the season.
Here is the schedule for Monday, May 7 (Evaluations at Dominico Field at Christie Pits Park):
Bantams with last names starting from A to H – 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.
Bantams with last names starting from I to Z – 6:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Midgets with last names starting from A to L – 7:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
Midgets with last names starting from M to Z – 8:15 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
In the event of inclement weather on the scheduled date of the evaluation sessions, Parents and Players are advised to check Twitter @TPbaseballnews or the website (www.tpbaseball.ca) for a weather update concerning their scheduled session.
