FIRING ON ALL CYLINDERS, THE EXPOS WIN THEIR FIRST ROUND ROBIN GAME OF THE TOURNAMENT

Playing under the lights and with threatening skies above, the Expos (12) defeated the A’s 12-6 in 4 ½ innings at Dominico Field at Christie Pits to win their first Bantam Round Robin game of the tournament .  

Here are the highlights:

  • The  Expos received strong pitching from Ugo (14) who gave up 2 runs over 2 innings.  
  • Cameron (1) and Micah (2) each pitched a scoreless inning for the Expos.
  • In the first inning Ethan (#9) shone defensively at first base for the Expos
  • In the third,  Expos catcher Sam (7) threw out an A”s baserunner attempting to steal second base. 
  • For the A’s, Liam (15) got on base four times with 2 hits and 2 walks, while Lily (6),  Vikram (4) and Brendan (10) showed good patience at the plate and drew two walks each.
