On a wonderful summer Saturday for baseball, our TP Mosquito Selects had a whale of a time partaking in the 2013 edition of the West Hill Select Tournament.

Despite finishing with a 0-2-1 round robin record at the tourney, Toronto Playgrounds had a splendid time participating in the fourteenth edition of the annual tournament held at Ken Morrish/East Point Park in Scarborough.

Here are the round robin scores:

  • BRAMPTON 23 TORONTO PLAYGROUNDS 6 (4 innings)
  • WEST HILL 20 TORONTO PLAYGROUNDS 8 (3 innings)
  • TORONTO PLAYGROUNDS 13 RICHMOND HILL 13 (4 innings)

In a tip of the cap to the TP Mosquito Select Team, the host convenor of the West Hill Select Tournament called our team “classy” after the host team (West Hill) played some bush ball and unnecessarily ran up the score. Stay classy, TP!
