DAY 7 > The Golden Warm ‘September Madness’ Of My Years


WITH A WHOPPING FIFTEEN GAMES PLAYED ON SUNDAY, THE 2013 TP HOUSE LEAGUE BASEBALL TOURNAMENT CONTINUES THIS EVENING WITH FOUR MORE GAMES

Beneath a veil of glorious sunny and blue skies yesterday at Christie Pits, fifteen amazing games were played across three diamonds from dawn to dusk at the 2013 Toronto Playgrounds House League Baseball Tournament.

An electric and festive carnival atmosphere was prevalent as players, coaches, parents , family, friends and baseball fans enjoyed their time at the games and the TP Barbecue Zone throughout the day. Indeed, a splendid time was had by all.

With fifteen games completed yesterday, ‘September Madness’ continues this evening with four more games in our Mosquito, Peewee and Bantam divisions.

While the players in our Bantam Division complete their round robin tonight, the teams in our Mosquito and Peewee divisions enter the knockout playoff phase of the tournament.

Here is the tournament schedule for Monday, September 9:

MOSQUITO DIVISION

  • 5:45 p.m. > (8) Lizzies @ (1) Cardinals  [Christie Pits Diamond 2]
  • 5:45 p.m. > (7) Giants @ (2) Dodgers  [Christie Pits Diamond 3]

PEEWEE DIVISION

  • 7:45 p.m. > (4) Jays @ (1) Orioles  [Christie Pits Diamond 2]

BANTAM DIVISION

  • 6:30 p.m. > Expos @ A’s  [Dominico Field at Christie Pits/Diamond 1]

Players are strongly encouraged to show up at least thirty minutes before their scheduled game time. ALL tournament games will start on time.
