Cubs 5 Reds 4 > In a 4 ½ inning Quarter-Final nailbiter at Christie Pits Diamond 3, the Cubbies prevailed 5-4 over the Big Red Machine to seize the honey jar of sweet victory and advance to a semi-final showdown against the top seeded Cardinals.
Mets 8 Pirates 1 > The suave Metropolitans made the swashbuckling Buccaneers walk the plank at Christie Pits Diamond 2 in an 8-1 Quarter-Final win that propelled them to semi-final clash against the second seeded Dodgers.
PEEWEE DIVISION SEMI-FINAL
Royals 11 Lizzies 5 > The Royals topped the Lizzies 11-5 in a 5 ½ inning semi-final game at Christie Pits Diamond 2. Playing their best all around game of the season, the Royals advanced to a championship game hoedown against the top ranked Orioles.
BANTAM DIVISION SEMI-FINAL
A’s 20 White Sox 8 > Firing on all cylinders, the A’s steamrolled over the White Sox 20-8 in a 5 ½ inning semi-final game at Dominico Field at Christie Pits.
