PRELIMINARY SESSION SCHEDULED ON SATURDAY AT THE BICKFORD CENTRE GYM TO GAUGE INTEREST IN OUR TP PEEWEE SELECT TEAM (2001-2002) FOR THE UPCOMING 2014 SEASON

The TP Baseball Committee wishes to issue a friendly reminder that we will be holding an initial indoor orientation session for people interested in the 2014 Toronto Playgrounds Peewee Select Team program (2001-2002) on Saturday, November 30.

The session will take place in the Bickford Centre gym (777 Bloor Street West) from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. The Bickford Centre is the large building on the south side of Bloor St. across the road from Christie Pits. The entrance to the gym is from the Breezeway, which is the area down the stairs from the main entrance to the building.

The purpose of this initial session is to gauge the level of interest in our Rookie Ball Select program for next season (which will help us decide if we need one or two teams), to give the players an opportunity to take part in some indoor drills while meeting our 2014 coaches, and to give us a chance to answer any questions that parents may have about our program.

Mike Pett, the Head Coach for the 2014 edition of the TP Peewee Select Team, will be on hand to supervise the Saturday session.

We will be starting weekly Select tryouts in January…information regarding the days, times, and locations will be sent out in early December.
