The Toronto Playgrounds Baseball Committee has scheduled a pair of House League Orientation sessions on Saturday, January 11 at the Harbord Collegiate Institute gymnasium.

The orientation sessions will allow:

  • Players to toss the ball around in the gym and loosen up for the 2014 house league baseball season ahead.
  • Parents will have an opportunity to register in person for the upcoming 2014 TP House League Baseball Season. Additionally, league representatives will be on hand to answer parents questions. Registration forms will be available in the gym.

Here are two session times scheduled:

  • 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon: Open gym warm up time for house league players not interested in our select program. Players will have the chance to toss the ball and begin to loosen up their baseball muscles in preparation for the coming  season.
  • 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.: Open gym warm up time for house league players not interested in our select program.  Players will have the chance to toss the ball and begin to loosen up  their baseball muscles in preparation for the coming season.

Harbord Collegiate (286 Harbord Street) is located on the north side of  Harbord Street between Euclid Ave. and Manning Ave. To enter the school,  people must use Door # 5, which is located at the northeast corner of  the school off Euclid Ave. Once you go in that door follow the signs to  the gym. Caretakers have told me that there will be parking available in the underground school lot. The entrance to the lot is off Euclid Ave.  just north of door # 5.

We look forward to seeing you at the orientation session and having you join us on the baseball diamonds at Christie Pits and Bickford Park for the 2014 season.
