Playing under the lights beneath warm and humid skies, the Orioles defeated the Jays 11-4 in five ornithological innings of Peewee Division action at Christie Pits Diamond 2.

Here are the highlights:

  • Henry (11) of the Orioles made a beautiful 4-3 double play, tagging runner advancing to second and throwing to first.
  • O’s hurlers Michael (2) and Thomas (5) pitched no hit, no base-on-balls innings. Charley (4) had three Ks in the bottom of the fifth.
  • Jacob (15) hit a double in the first, and Thomas (5) hit a triple in the fourth to power
  • Jays reliever Kyle (?) pitched a fine top of the fifth with two strike outs.
