MOSQUITO > Giants Thump Cardinals 12-2

THE MIGHTY GIANTS POWER THEIR WAY OVER THE GRITTY CARDS AT CHRISTIE PITS

Beneath wonderful sunny blue skies, the Giants powered their way to an 12-2 victory over the Cardinals in four innings of Mosquito Division play this evening at Christie Pits Diamond 2.

Here is a Cardinals game synopsis of the proceedings:

CARDINALS GAME SUMMARY by Aaron and Steve.

The Cardinals brought a new look to the field this week against the Giants, with the pitching débuts of Elijah and Elliot on the mound.

Once again, Rahim looked great on the mound as well with great accuracy and consistency.

The third and fourth innings featured patient at bats by the Cardinals squad, where they loaded the bases on multiple occasions resulting in two runs scored.

The Red Birds also saw some great base running and our focus on sliding skills at this weeks practice really came through.

In the end the Giants’ power hitting was too much for the Cardinals this week, but an exciting and fun game nonetheless.
