The Toronto Playgrounds Baseball Committee has announced that we will be holding a Batting Practice Mini-Clinic on Saturday, June 13 at Christie Pits Diamond 2 from 9:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

House League players in our respective Rookie Ball (2006-2007), Mosquito (2004-2005), and Peewee (2002-2003) divisions are invited to stop by after they have had their photos taken at Saturday’s Photo Day Event to take a few swings.

TP Umpire/coach Joel Scott will be running the batting practice session, with assistance from some of our house league coaches.

Any House League Coaches, who are available for 30 to 45 minutes after your team picture has been taken, are encouraged to head over to Diamond 2 to help organize the players waiting to bat. Coaches can also pick up some pointers on hitting from Joel and Bill Evans, who will also be assisting for part of the practice.
