RAIN HAS FORCED THE POSTPONEMENT OF SOME OF OUR EARLY TOURNAMENT PLAYOFF GAMES AT CHRISTIE PITS AND BICKFORD PARK; THE 10:15 A.M. MOSQUITO GAMES ARE PROCEEDING AS SCHEDULED; THE 10:45 A.M. PEEWEE GAME HAS BEEN PUSHED BACK TO A TENTATIVE 11:15 START TIME

The Toronto Playgrounds Baseball Committee has announced that following games are proceeding as scheduled:
MOSQUITO DIVISION
- 10:15 a.m. > Royals @ White Sox [Christie Diamond 3]
- 10:15 a.m. > Lizzies @ Mariners [Bickford Park]
In addition, the start time of the Peewee Division round robin playoff game between the Pirates and Mets has been pushed back to a tentative 11:15 a.m. start (from the original 10:45 a.m. start time). Confirmation to follow as to whether the game will be proceeding at the revised time.
Rain has forced the postponement of our some of our scheduled house league tournament playoff games on Saturday, September 12 at Christie Pits and Bickford Park.
Here are the games that have been postponed for today:
MOSQUITO DIVISION
- 8:30 a.m. > Angels @ A’s [Christie Diamond 3]
PEEWEE DIVISION
- 8:30 a.m. > Rockies @ Lizzies [Bickford Park]
- 9:00 a.m. > Expos @ Giants [Christie Diamond 2]
BANTAM DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES (Best 4 out of 7)
- 10:00 a.m. > Reds @ Lizzies [Christie Diamond 1/Dominico Field]
Parents and Players are advised that these postponed round robin playoff tournament games will be rescheduled at a future date.
This is a reminder that we’re hoping for a break in the rainy weather conditions. With some cooperation from Mother Nature, we remain hopeful that some of our scheduled tournament games will be played today and Sunday. That said, we’ll play in conditions of light rain. So don’t assume a game isn’t on if it’s raining.
