Our annual tourist magnet signage to promote registrations for the Toronto Playgrounds House League Baseball program is on display once again at the northwest corner of Bloor and Christie. Check it out before it’s too late.
The Toronto Playgrounds House League Baseball Committee is continuing to accept registrations for the upcoming 2016 House League Baseball Season.
Here are the 2016 TP House League Baseball Registration Fees for our six age classifications:
- TEE BALL [Junior & Senior] (2009-2012) > $145.00
- ROOKIE BALL [Junior & Senior] (2007-2008) > $145.00
- MOSQUITO (2005-2006) > $170.00
- PEEWEE (2003-2004) > $170.00
- BANTAM (2001-2002) > $170.00
- MIDGET (1998-2000) > $170.00

Information regarding how the Tee Ball and Rookie Ball divisions will be organized can also be found there. For Tee Ball please rank your choices as 1, 2, and 3. For Rookie Ball, please rank your choices as 1 and 2.
Parents and Players are also advised that the house league registration fee covers the cost of a trophy, picture (individual & team) and a uniform (cap, jersey and pants).

UPDATE: To address the possibility of a labour dispute between the City of Toronto and its indoor workforce (CUPE Local 79), the Toronto Playgrounds House League Baseball Committee has issued an important registration update for those parents and players who are interested in signing up for the upcoming 2016 House League Baseball season.
Due to the possibility of the inside city workers either being locked out or going on strike, we have for the time being a new mailing address. If the inside workers are off the job, then the City of Toronto recreation centres will be closed…this will prevent us from accessing any mail sent to the Bob Abate Centre (485 Montrose Avenue).

With the overwhelming popularity of our respective house league baseball offerings, the Committee strongly urges all interested parents and players to register early to guarantee a placement in our program. ALL roster spots in our six age groups will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Once all the available roster openings have been filled in a designated age category, any additional registrants will be put on a sequential waiting list in the event an opening becomes available.
DIVISION REGISTRATION
The divisions for our house league and the corresponding years of birth are set out above. If you’d like to register your child in a division other than the one listed for their year of birth, please contact us at tpbaseball@gmail.com to discuss it before completing the form.
In both the Tee Ball and Rookie Ball divisions the spaces in the divisions will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis. There are obviously only a certain number of spots available in each division.
