REGULAR SEASON SCHEDULE STILL BEING FINALIZED AND WILL BE POSTED ON MAY 23; MOSQUITO DIVISION PRACTICE SCHEDULE POSTED FOR MAY 24

The Toronto Playgrounds House League Baseball Committee will email and post the 2016 Mosquito Division (2005-2006) regular season schedule on Monday, May 23.
Putting together the Mosquito schedule for twelve teams (rather than last year’s eight), while juggling the available diamond times, is quite a complicated process. The Committee apologizes for the delay in posting the regular season schedule and we thank you for your patience and understanding as we finalize this monumental logistical task.
However, to provide some certainty going forward, here is the schedule of the Mosquito Division practices that will be taking place on Tuesday, May 24.
- 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. > Bickford South Diamond: Angels and Jays
- 5:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. > Christie Pits Diamond 2: Rays and White Sox
- 7:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. > Christie Pits Diamond 2: Royals and Mosquito Lizzies
Since every Mosquito Division team plays every Thursday, you know that you will have a game this Thursday, May 26….you will know exactly where and when by Monday. The way the game schedule will work this season is as follows:
- there will be two games at Christie Pits Diamond 2 (5:45 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.)
- there will be one game at Christie Pits Diamond 3 (5:45 p.m.)
- there will be one game at the Bickford South diamond (5:45 p.m.)
- there will be two games at Trinity-Bellwoods Diamond 2 (5:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.)
All teams will be scheduled at all locations and times during the season.
The Committee is still in the process of working with the City of Toronto permit office to try to obtain additional diamond time on Tuesdays so that the practice portion of the Mosquito Division schedule can be as convenient as possible for our families. For that reason, the schedule that we send out and post Monday may not have practice times/locations set out for the entire season, but it will list which teams are practicing each Tuesday, so you will know which Tuesdays you need to be available for baseball. Once we have finalized the details for the practices, we’ll send you an updated schedule to replace the one we send you Monday. The game portion of the Mosquito Division schedule will be listed in its entirety on the schedule you receive Monday.
