Beneath a tranquill layer of cloudy skies, the York Green defeated our Toronto Playgrounds Minor Peewee Selects 21-5 in four innings of Etobicoke Baseball Association (EBA) Select action this evening at Christie Pits Diamond 2.

Taking care of business, York sent eighteen batters to the plate in the top of the first and cranked out eleven hits to take a commanding 13-0 lead. It was a lead that the Green would not surrender.

Powering the York offensive assault were respective clutch two out 2 RBI hits from Jorge (52), Dimitri (26) and Johnny (1).

In a gritty foray on the mound, TP starter Lucas (47) struck out three in the first to quell the York uprising.
