MOSQUITO > Orioles Top Mariners 8-4

IN A SPIRITED NIGHTCAP UNDER THE LIGHTS, THE O’s PREVAIL FOR THE VICTORY OVER THE M’s AT CHRISTIE PITS

Game Summary edited with file from Don Christie

Under a tranquil ceiling of warm night skies, the Orioles defeated the Mariners 8-4 in four innings of Mosquito Division play this evening at Christie Pits Diamond 2.

Here is a Mariners log of the game:

  • As a team, the Mariners worked really hard tonight versus the Orioles.
  • It was a tough game for the M’s against the Orioles, especially during what seemed like a very long second inning.
  • Considering the Mariners have had only one practice so far this season, back in May, the team did a great job to rally in the bottom of the third and final inning for three out of their four runs.
  • A very special kudos to Mariner Joshua (13), who tonight not only got on base for the first time this season, but scored a run! Way to go Joshua!
