Beneath a beautiful canvas of pristine summer skies, the Reds defeated the Rangers 8-1 in 3 ½ innings of Bantam Division play this evening at Dominico Field at Christie Pits.

Here is a Rangers account of the proceedings:

  • The Rangers played the Reds on Monday evening and lost the battle 8-1.
  • Alysa, Cormac (3), Michael (4) and Avi (5) all got on base with walks and everyone was swinging the bat and making contact for pop outs and ground outs.
  • Julian (1) managed to get on base with two great hits: a line drive back to the pitcher and a grounder to shortstop.
  • The Rangers pitching duties were shared by Julian, Adam and Cormac.
  • Every Ranger tried their best!
