Under a canvas of warm and hazy skies, our Toronto Playgrounds Major Peewee Selects defeated the Martingrove White Sox 11-8 in four innings of Etobicoke Baseball Association (EBA) Select play this evening at Carmen Bush Park to earn their seventh victory of the season.
Here are the highlights:
- TP Major Peewee Select pitchers Aaron (54), Harris (12) and Zenon (9) combined for strong effort versus the White Sox.
- The TP offense was powered by a number of key hits during the proceeding.
- Harris went 3 for 4 at the dish to spark the TP attack.
- TP catcher Jake (30) threw out a Martingrove player who was attempting to steal second.
The TP Major Peewee Selects (7-1) continue their summer road trip on the EBA Select circuit when they travel to Queensway South next Wednesday, July 13 to play against the Royal York Cardinals at 6:00 p.m.
