THE WHITE SOX PREVAIL OVER THE TWINKIES IN THE NIGHTCAP AT TRINITY-BELLWOODS PARK

Beneath a ceiling of warm summer skies, the White Sox defeated the Twins 8-3 in 2 ½ innings of Mosquito Division action this evening at Trinity-Bellwoods Park Diamond 2.
Here is a White Sox summary of the proceedings:
- After a twenty minute rain delay and two gorgeous rainbows over Trinity-Bellwoods Park, the White Sox and the Twins finally had the opportunity to proceed with their Mosquito Division nightcap game.
- White Sox starter Ethan (14) threw many strikes in the top of the first and chalked up 1 K. Strong White Sox fielding finished the inning to keep the Twins scoreless.
- Sam (7) led off with a triple to start the White Sox on their run in the bottom of the first . Up 1-0 and with the bases loaded, Christian (3) lined a hard 3 RBI single into right to bring the curtain down on the first with the White ahead 4-0.
- In his season debut on the mound, White Sox reliever Willem (12) got the job done with three big K’s, while allowing only two runs.
- With bases loaded in the bottom of the second, Ethan digs in at the plate and connects for a bases clearing 3 RBI double. Willem batted in the eighth run with a hard hit RBItriple to end the inning.
- White Sox closer Tavaris (5) entered the fray in the top of the third and sealed the deal by getting 3 K’s, while surrendering only one run to secure the White Sox 8-3 win over the Twins.
