Beneath a thick ceiling of humid skies, the Angels defeated the Rays 13-9 in four innings of Mosquito Division action this evening at Christie Pits Diamond 3.

- Elliot (13) hit a home run to straight away deep centre field.
- Elliot also pitched well and made a great play at second to get an out at first.
- Angles pitchers Rorden, Evan (1) and Dante (12) battled on the mound to keep the Rays off the bases.
- Andre (11), Zach (14) and James (10) had big hits for the Halos.
- Angels catcher Andre threw out a Royals base runner who was trying to steal third.
- Evan made a nice tag off a short hop to finish a well executed caught stealing play.
- The proceeding was a close and fun game.
