The Toronto Playgrounds House League Baseball Committee will be holding their Annual General Membership Meeting and Awards Presentation for Baseball Excellence on Thursday, March 30 at the Bob Abate Community and Recreation Centre (485 Montrose Avenue) from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The Committee presents awards annually to people who embody the spirit and principles of our Toronto Playgrounds House League Baseball program. It gives recognition to Players, Coaches, Umpires and Parents who go beyond the call of duty and volunteer their valuable energy and time to make our baseball program the wonderful experience that it is.
2016 Awards in the categories of female participant; male participant and volunteer of the year will be presented during the proceedings.
The general membership meeting will also allow new and old members of the TP House League Baseball Family to hear an update on the state of operations in the TP Baseball Program as we veer towards Opening Day of the 2017 season. The proceedings will also allow anyone in attendance to ask questions to TP Baseball Committee Members and receive answers to their concerns.
In addition, there will be also be a slide show featuring many memorable photographs taken during the 2016 season.
Snacks and refreshments will be served to those in attendance at the annual general meeting and awards ceremony.
