A FREE BARBECUE LUNCH FOR PLAYERS AND COACHES PARTICIPATING IN OUR END OF SEASON ‘SEPTEMBER MADNESS’ TOURNEY IS ON DECK FOR THIS SATURDAY AT CHRISTIE PITS
The Toronto Playgrounds Baseball Committee has released the lunch schedule for the teams participating in our end of season 2018 “September Madness’ Tournament.
The BBQ lunch for all of our participating players and coaches will take place on Saturday, September 8 at Christie Pits. Each player and coach will receive a free lunch consisting of a hot dog (meat or veggie), bag of chips, and a juice box.
Most teams will be eating after one of their games at Christie Pits. The teams that are meeting before a game at Christie Pits to eat will be contacted by their coaches regarding when and where to meet. The coaches of the teams that will be going to get their free food after a game at the Bickford South diamond have been sent the instructions for sending in your team order.
For the free meal, we will be preparing a team meal….please don’t send or bring your child to the BBQ on their own. We’ll have one coach or parent from each team come to collect the order.
Food and drinks will also be available for sale at our TP Baseball BBQ Zone to parents, siblings, family and friends from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

10:45 a.m. > Mosquito Lizzies, A’s, Rangers*, Twins*
11:30 a.m. > Yankees, Astros, Dodgers*, Giants*
12:30 p.m. > Rockies, Peewee Lizzies
12:45 p.m. > Cardinals, Pirates, Orioles*, Angels*, Mariners**
1:00 p.m. > Crawfords, Homesteads
1:30 p.m. > Cubs, Expos, Jays**
2:30 p.m. > Mets**
3:00 p.m. > Stars**, Bantam Lizzies, Wolves
3:30 p.m. > Rays**
5:00 p.m. > Eagles**, Buckeyes**
6:00 p.m. > White Sox**
6:30 p.m. > Reds**
*indicates a team will be coming from a game at Bickford South to Christie for their food from the BBQ.
**indicates a team will be meeting with their coaches before their game to have their food from the BBQ.
