WITH THE CONCLUSION OF OUR END OF SEASON TOURNAMENT, THE CURTAIN COMES DOWN ON THE 2018 TORONTO PLAYGROUNDS HOUSE LEAGUE BASEBALL SEASON
With the completion of our last ‘September Madness’ tournament game tonight, the 2018 Toronto Playgrounds House League Baseball Season officially comes to a close.
If you include the 87 games that were played during our end of the season tournament over the past ten days, we have played a combined grand total of 803 house league baseball games this season in our respective Tee Ball, Rookie Ball, Mosquito, Peewee, Bantam and Midget age divisions. That’s not too shabby!
It’s also been another supercalifragilisticexpialidocious year for us with over 1100 players registered in our House League Baseball program.
The TP Baseball Committee would like to thank all the parents and players who registered with our program this season. We’re glad that you came along for the ride and we sincerely hope that you had a fun and rewarding experience on the field of dreams.
Our sincerest thanks also go out to the numerous volunteers who stepped up to the plate during the 2018 season to coach, field supervise, umpire, scorekeep, move equipment, distribute uniforms, barbecue, etc. The TP Baseball Program would not be the stellar jewel that it is in the community without the love and participation of those who live within it.
The TP Baseball Website would like to thank all the coaches and parents who took the extra time to email, text, and send in pictures and reports from their respective House League, Select and Rep games during the course of a long 2018 season. Your contributions were sincerely valued by the Committee as it allowed us to enrich the content and the overall experience of the website, Twitter and Instagram social media platforms enormously.
As we head into the off-season, Parents, Players and interested registrants are advised to check back for information concerning the following:
- Fall workout/tryout sessions to gauge interest in our 2019 TP Select Baseball program
- Fall 2018/Winter-Spring 2019 TP Baseball Academy Indoor Skills Training Sessions
- 2019 TP House League Baseball Registrations
